Choosing a pack size
This design is supplied in booklets, the most portable format and the simplest to hand to staff who mail occasionally. Larger packs lower the cost per stamp, so the practical question is how much postage the office will use before the next rate change rather than which tier looks cheapest. Stamps do not expire, and Forever-designated issues keep covering a one-ounce First-Class Mail letter after rates rise, so buying a larger pack early is usually safe.
